Many children who are referred to Lifespan have learning difficulties or other educational issues. Some of these children may have difficulties with learning; others may be within the gifted range of cognitive abilities. All of these children have unique needs that are often not met in the educational settings where they attend. These children and their parents often require the assistance of a professional who understands the learning process and is able to provide effective evaluation and intervention.

We can help parents and their children by conducting a full evaluation of their needs. Based on the outcome of this evaluation, we can help determine what is the most appropriate course of action. In many cases, we may recommend professional tutoring. We are excited to offer professional tutoring as a new service at Lifespan because we believe it addresses a huge gap in services in our community. We also provide regular educational workshops for individuals and groups of all ages. For information about future workshops, click here.
