- individual, couples, and group therapy
- psychological/neuropsychological evaluation

Life presents challenges throughout the life span. During adulthood, these challenges may take the form of career decisions, parenting concerns, marital conflict, health and lifestyle issues, aging parents, pending retirement, death of a loved one, general life changes, and often some combination of the above. Any of these challenges can cause significant stress. Even positive life events can be stressful. When stress is not effectively addressed and managed, it can contribute to serious anxiety, depression, and/or physical illness. Further, a family history of these problems can increase the likelihood of experiencing serious physical and/or emotional difficulties.

Lifespan is known for our effective work with successful adults who experience these difficulties. Treatment may be provided in the form of individual, couples, or family therapy. At the beginning of treatment, providers first assess the client's presenting concerns. Then considering the client's needs, as well as strengths and challenges, a treatment plan is developed. The length of treatment, as well as treatment modality used, is chosen to best fit the needs of the client.

If a particular client needs a related service (e.g., psychiatric medication, more extensive neuropsychological assessment), we will coordinate with other community care providers to ensure that these services are carried out.
